Need help IDing an old motor.

Hello. I stumbled across this site this morning and thought I would see if the old-timers on this board might be able to help me determine what type of motor I have.

I stumbled across this motor in an old garage salvage in the foothills of the Superstition Mountains near Florence Junction Arizona.

Fell in love with the look of this old motor, and have plans on repurposing it into something really neat, but I thought I would check with a group like yourselves first to make certain that there is no intrinsic value in the motor in it's original state.

Any info/advice you might be able to provide would be much appreciated.

That looks more like a compressor than a motor

Ditto that. This is a compressor, and way more interesting than an old motor. Does it turn over easily?

Thank you. Compressor, not motor. Well, I guess there's no recovering from that, or hiding the fact that I most likely will not be a huge contributor to a ton of tech information here. Thanks for being gentle in your responses. @roberts210, there is a tiny bit of play in turning the compressor but it quickly binds.
