Need help with ideas for 24x24

Hey I am new here to the site from NS Canada. I have been scrolling through looking at ideas for a few weeks now. I am finally just about ready to build my garage just looking for some ideas and advise. I will also post the progress once it gets started. To date I have had over 125 tandem loads of fill brought in.

First off the garage will be 24x24. 10 ft walls and single door maybe 16 x 8. I plan to have attic rafters but I am wondering if it is worth doing it with a 4/12 roof. (Only reason I am looking at 4/12 is to match the house). Or would it look right if I do a 6/12 next to the house. Attached below is a pic of the house and where garage will be off to the right. Also should I angle the garage or put it 90 degrees. Also I want the door under the eves. (same as house) Thanks in advance.

Here is my 24x24. I love it, even though I wish it were a little bigger. That's a constant struggle with any garage. Well most... Some garages here are fuggin crazy huge! It was built in 1990 so I'm sure yours will have a more modern look haha. Anyway, started out empty...








Size is good, but I like working on my truck and bikes and it gets tight in there now.

What I'm saying is, if you think you'll run out of space, add a little extra footage now. About the angled or 90* question... That's a tough one. Do you have a birds eye view of your property?

I think it will end up being 90. I took a few pics from the roof of the house ill post them later when I am home. Also the 24x24 is all I can do without engineered slab
