Alright fellas, hoping some of you guys have some random tools that I can use for this kit.. I need to put together a handyman type electricians kit. I dont do much car audio anymore so my Snap on box and tools sits in my parents garage.. I dont want to truck around $800 worth of snap on tools to customers houses..

I help a friend in his home/commercial audio install business and have grown tired of borrowing his tools. I plan on getting one of these

and need to fill it..pliers, linesmans, screwdrivers, etc.. basically anything you may have laying around that would work.. precision screwdrivers, stud finder, outlet tester, nut drivers, ratchet, simple sockets, etc etc etc

I know I could sit on amazon and spec this whole thing out, but being that this is not my day job, I dont want, nor need, to buy first class stuff..figured I might be able to take some stuff of you guys' hands..

thanks a bunch, help me put money in your paypal account lol

I just picked up a nice SK 1/4 drive socket set with short & deep in a locking plastic box. Also can set you up with Craftsman sockets and ratchets, just tell me what you need. I have some Mac nut drivers and I believe I have a set of Craftsman nut drivers also. I have a Craftsman torx driver set, do you need those? Picked up a Greenlee knockout punch kit in a plastic case, but just has the cutters and not the screw & bearing piece. Let me know if you're interested in any of these.

I can't imagine you needing much for sockets and wrench's except for the occasional commercial audio rack etc.
I can see the need for
Philips screwdrivers (several sizes)
Straight blade screwdrivers (several sizes)
Linesman pliers
Diagnol cutting pliers
Strippers
Small adjustable wrench
Channel lock pliers
Tape measure
A good set of multi bits ( torxs, star, allen head etc)
Stud finder
Cordless drill, bits, & accesories
Nut drivers
Set of allen wrenchs
Crimpers & a good supply of wire terminals
Electrical tape
Assortment of heat shrink tubing and a tiny torch
Wire ties ( several sizes)
Multi meter for testing continuity
Labels ? tags for marking wires
Small level
Variaty of wall anchors
Assortment of screws, washers, maybe some small bolts
A set of 2 way radios ( so you don't have to yell)
