Just wanted to let you know that Nepros is being sold on Amazon Prime. I picked up some extensions and a 90 tooth ratchet with two day shipping. They are sold by KTC and fulfilled by Amazon.

The prices already have the cost of international shipping built it.
The international shipping is pretty quick, so if you plan to order more than a few items its a better idea to get them from nepros.net

That's cool that they are available through Amazon. Rakuten still seems to be the cheapest option.

May as well buy tool truck at those prices...

At the risk of starting a sh*t storm, Nepros is at least on par with all the truck brands if not better than some.

I've always wanted to try a Nepros out...I've read nothing but good things about them, but as mentioned, when I can buy a SO or MAC for less...WITH local support...:headscrat

The prices on some of the items are up there. I got good deals on the extensions and the ratchet and will get them faster. As for the quality of Nepros, they are on par with Snap On. I have both.

I have found the prices for Nepros with shipping to be on par or cheaper that Snap On for similar items. As for support you have a point. For a DIYers like myself this is not as much of an issue.

The prices on Amazon are high. You can get them off Rakuten with shipping for a little less than Snap-On. That being said local support is nice to have.

I will say this. The Nepros handle design is the most comfortable I have ever used, and it has considerably less back drag than my dual 80's.

This.

I am hoping that I will like the handle comfort like you do. I am really excited to get the new tools.

I still gotta try them. Maybe find a new favorite? But, don't have the cash right now.

So how are you finding them on Rakuten? Every single Nepros item says "currently unavailable "

I have no idea what you are searching to get that, but simply searching "Nepros NBR" gets you most of the variants. You of course can search for the exact item you are looking for with the full model number NBR390 for instance. I got mine from the shop Mutsuura.

I bought a 1/4" Nepros rat off of Franks. It is a **** little thing. I have not used it much yet. I have been curious about the adjustable wrench with the round handle. I did not see it on Amazon.

My accountant is ready for new shoes anyways.

I believe the used to only be $70 or $75 on amazon. I'm not sure why they jumped. I ordered mine about a month ago and i remember the amazon price was exactly the price of nepros.net plus the cost of international shipping. Since i was ordering some screwdrivers as well, i just went ahead and ordered from japan as the combined shipping was cheaper.

Back in May this year, I was told by the Nepros rep that they will cease the operation of nepros.net in June, but that sure never happened. :dunno:
I suggested providing a notice to the public on their .net site of the change, but to this day I don't see anything posted. I take it that probably means the .net site will continue indefinitely? I hope that's the case.

I'm not liking the price differences though. :wtf:

I sent Nepros.net support an email some time ago and never heard back. They also haven't added their new 3/8 ratchets to that catalog. Probably can still order off it but they don't seem to be updating it.

The Amazon prices are disgusting considering the dollar is strong against the Yen and Nepros hasn't adjusted accordingly for export. Their stuff was quite a bit cheaper when the US economy was in the toilet and the Yen was strong. Backwards.

As an example, NBR390 on Amazon.JP is roughly $78.50 US and I believe that's with the tax rate included. Amazon.com its $130.
