New Concrete - Sealant?

HI Folks,

I'm a happy owner of a new pole barn with a 4" concrete floor ( Poly Vapor Liner underneath ). The pour is 32 days old. I've let it rest and only looked at it so far. Now I'm thinking of a sealer.

Here's the catch. I have gift cards for Home Depot ( won them at work, Yea! ) which are on the expiration clock and I'd really like to use them to purchase a sealer. My use for the barn will be part man cave with foot traffic only and part storage of toy / equipment which will likely leak some fluids and bring in mud and dirt.

My goal for the sealant is easy sweeping and some protection from leaks and spills. My options:

5 Gal. Supreme Seal Clear High Gloss Solvent-Based Acrylic Concrete Sealer

Eagle 5 Gal. Natural Seal Penetrating Clear Water-Based Concrete and Masonry Water Repellant Sealer and Salt Repellant EM5 - The Home Depot

Any insights from the above? I know there are better commercial sealers but this is what I have to work with. Thanks.

I would recommend the solvent-based sealer. It will perform the best out of the three choices you have. I would not recommend the Behr product.

I didnt seal my floor, and have no regrets. 8 years now of automotive work. Heavy metal parts eventually take a chip out here and there. Surface is now 'seasoned' from spills.

I've seen a lot of concrete with peeling coatings over the years and didnt care for that.

That's the easy option. Perhaps I'm just creating extra work?
