New Construction Garage Makeover

Long time lurker, first time poster:

I wanted to post and show off before I get too far along.

I moved into a new home in Fulton, MD this past March and finally got the wife's approval and the time to redo my 2 1/2 car garage into a clean and functional garage. Too often I see garages in my neighborhood turn into miniature indoor junkyards.

I've included some before pictures. Rented a shop vac, concrete grinder with diamond bits, and a HEPA filter dust collector. Taped off the edges for an angle grinder. Turned out to be cheaper to buy an angle grinder from Harbor Freight than renting from HD.

Playing catch up here. Grinding and vacuuming was complete as of 10 Sep. Angle grinded the edges and did cross hatch pattern with the heavy duty concrete grinder over the field space of the concrete.

I tried to romance my wife with my "PPE Man" pose before I started. Didn't work.

This was as of last night. A week of scrubbing, pressure washing, more scrubbing, etching, and moisture proofing culminated the grand finale.

I used the Rustoleum line of cleaner/etcher and the moisture stop. My garage slab never "sweat" after I used a plastic sheet to test for moisture. But being as OCD as I am I moisture sealed the substrate anyways.

After reading multiple reviews of Rustoleum's Rock Solid or Epoxyshield, I chose the latter. There multiple (hundreds) of negative and neutral reviews for the Rock Solid product. I have experience with EpoxyShield, so I went with that.
