The site doesn't indicate the specs of this unit. Could you guys clarify what are the pro's regarding this unit? What is the light out put of these units?

I know they are LED's but three triple A batteries? Does not seem like much light will be given off. Any thoughts?

I carry a streamlight microstream on my keys. It takes just 1 AAA battery and it puts out 20 lumens. It is really amazing what kind of light you can get from an LED.

coast has a light that takes AAA batteries. super bright. 3 aaa can put out some light if the light is made right. these are not meant to be spot lights guys... these are good for under the dash and finding leaks on an intake when using a smoke machine ( use the light to look for smoke in tight areas)

<----Will stick with SF. For compact EDC I modded a Cree P4. Takes a single 123! Its right around 60-65 lumens. And fits on a keychain. The build cost me less than $10

Got mine this morning, the crimpers are back ordered. And replaced a pair of needle nose pliers under warranty because the joint was loose.

Life is good when you have a most excellent Snap on dealer.

Just to thread-crash, I have to say I'm discouraged with the Blue Point pen light, "assembled in the USA" .

Even though my driver sub'd out for a new housing. the damn spring in there I think that makes contact with the batts isn't up to spec. Or it's too easy to get bent.
I don't know....frustrating because I had one in my box and one in a work station and they were great.

And ****** expensive at near $50:
