Not an active participant with a lot of posts, but have been lurking and sponging ideas for about a year.
The demographics are, working stiff, an Equipment Engineer for a large cosmetics company. Love old cars and tools. Have more ideas or rather "visions" than I have time or money.
I was sent here over a year ago by some guys from another forum. I was looking for solutions and inspiration for my 32x47 shop. I built the shop in 1997, but never finished the inside, mainly because I didn't have a clue as to how I wanted it to be finished.
This is what I have in mind now! http://garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=45022
If I spent as many hours working on my own project as I have sweating this thread, I'd be finished.
Thanks XcYZ for the visualization of what can be. Of course the colors will differ (I have a Green Car) and since the area is shared (my wife has Territorial rights to 25% of total square footage) there are variations not yet realized.
It's a work in progress.
The biggest hurdle has been reclaiming the space that became storage. Dumped some, donated some and sold some. Also set-up a Conex container as a tool room. That worked out really sweet.
Hell, that's enough chatter from me. Take a look.
