Still in the permitting stage but the details are as follows. 30 x 60 with 15 foot wall height. 4 doors across the front 10 wide by 12 tall. On one end in the back corner 12 wide by 12 tall door. City has some crazy requirements so three walls (front and sides) have to be brick. Back wall will be Hardiplank. Probably go with sheetrock walls with fiberglass insulation. GE led lights and 36,000 btu Lennox mini-split ac system with 3 heads. Armstrong VCT floor planned. It should hold 7 cars without going to lifts but with 15 ceiling and high lift kits with jackshaft openers double stacking is always an option. I will try to post some pictures as it progresses. Yes I like cars and life has been good to me. I currently have 4 garages but 8 cars so this is need not a want atleast that what I told my wife. If anyone has suggestions for wall covering options, flooring, or lighting I am open to suggestions. Also brands of lifts but don't tell my wife I used the word lift she already thinks I have too many cars.

Consider bricking all 4 sides. Since you're doing 3 anyway, the incremental cost of bricking the 4th side shouldn't be all that great and you'll eliminate any exterior maintenance on that wall.

Also, look into mineral wool insulation instead of fiberglass. A bit more pricey but it works well to help sound proof, is fire resistant, and blocks the flow of air through the insulation much better than fiberglass. Standard batts for 2x4 walls are R15 compared to standard fiberglass batts at R13.

If you go with T8 fluorescent lighting, look for fixtures with residential grade ballasts if radio reception is important to you. Your ceilings are tall enough that you might be better served with T5 fixtures. Search the Lighting and Electrical forum for lighting threads. There is some good info there.

Racedeck is late due to the winter storm, Goliath. It got as far as Amarillo then the storm hit. After three days it made it as far as Dallas. Maybe by Thursday.

They are Clopay insulated doors windstorm rated. 4 are 10 x 12 and one on the end is 12 x 12.
