Hello. I just found this site. it is very cool I look forward to learning a lot from you guys.
well this is the third garage I have built. (well I didn't build this one) I call it the bionic dawghause. a guy I know on gearztv forum called the shop I built in utah a nice doghouse so when I had to move and build a new and better shop I called it the bionic dawghause.
The first shop I built was in nebraska I built a nice 24 x 32 foot garage with a complete attic for storage designed it and built it myself with help from friends and family. then I moved to utah just finished my 40 x 42 foot miracle truss building, again built by me and friends and family. I just started the wiring when I had to move to a new job here in iowa.
now my new shop is 60 x 40 I have a 44x 40 foot main shop for car work, then the rest is divided up into a wood shop, I am going to put a bathroom in it as soon as I can afford the 5-6 thousand dollars it is going to cost me to put in a septic tank, and I have a room that I have setup as a kennel for my dogs. since I wanted this shop built all steel I needed a crane to install the I-beams so I hired it done. they did a great job. I am still in the process of wiring the inside, and I keep adding new features as the need arises. My dad lives nearby and he also uses the shop so this past weekend we ran some permanent airlines to hook our two aircompressors together and run out to 3 retractible airlines and a permanent line to my bead blaster. here are some pictures.
