I joined this forum the other day after lurking for a couple of weeks ago. I discovered it because it was referenced in another fourm (can't remember which one).
I live on Long Island, NY in Suffolk County.
I have decided take over my 2 car garage. It is still loaded with stuff from when we moved on almost 4 years ago. I am going to gut it this spring. My plan is to have the ceiling and walls spray foamed (2") and fill the reaming space in the ceiling with fiberglass then drywall. My main reason to spray foam is seal the air leaks. This should make the master bedroom, which is above the garage, much warmer.
I also plan to Epoxy-Coat the floor. It may a lot of prep work because it is pretty rough.
Still need to decide on how I am going to organize/store everything.
