hey folks, i m new here, though i've been lurking around for a few days.
im a diesel mechanic in upstate NY, wish i had a bigger garage then the falling down shack i barely can call a garage. not much else to me other than i grew up on a farm here in NY, learned how to work on equiptment before i went to school, started tinkering on old John Deere's and Farmall tractors and Ford Pickups. never went to a tech school other then BOCES's clasess. everything i learned was by working alongside a more experinced mechanic. now i am a shift supervisor at a repair shop for a Mack dealer and speicalize in electrical system troubleshooting and repair. i've been a vol. firefighter for 12 years, and currently i am Lt. for Triangle Fire co.

Welcome to the site. I am located in Delaware County, NYS. Have a 97 diesel Savana van that has been over to Dickson's Diesel for work. I believe that is close to you. Still giving me troubles. I think it is either a cracked block or head gaskets. Need to get it figured out. You probably attended the Trout Creek BOCES. Is that right?
