Hello everyone.
My name is Mike. I'm thinking of retiring in a couple years and have been saving for a while to build my new garage that will have a woodworking shop and mechanical shop combined. My plan is for a 30 x40 footprint with a heated slab. I'll sure be grateful if I can pick your brains occasionally.
My first question has to do with the best way for forming a stem wall to be poured at the same time as the monolithic slab. Whould anyone have photos that show the best forming techniques?
Thanks!

Welcome to the forum Mike. I've done quite a few mono pours like that. Basically I strong back the top edge of the form and lots of kicker braces. I'll let someone else with photos sound off as I'd have to go digging and scanning to illustrate.
