Just found this site. Here are a few pictures of my shop. Built it about 2 years ago. I had a company put up the roof for $3500.00 and I finished it. Total cost was about $5500.00. Some more pictures can be found here:

The shop is 28x40 and I added another 20x20 section onto one end to do painting. I need to add another section on the other end now to have more room for projects. I can fit 3 in it now but have several more waiting outside. Like everyone says build it bigger than you need. It seems that it will always fill up to the maximum capacity in a hurry.

I had almost the same style building put up ( a whole lot smaller though 12x20) Im having a problem with my roof leaking right where the pieces of metal overlap, you have any suggestions... Nice shop by the way. I wish I could have went bigger but I have zero space on my property.

I have never had any problems with the roof leaking. When they put it up I made sure they had the center a bit higher than both sides so water would run off faster. You could check that or loosen the panel that is leaking and put some sealer down then tighten it back up. I also sloped the roof away from the main building on the addition I added. I guess you could raise one side a bit to let the water flow off faster.

It "was" my TA. It's a 1977. I bought it a month or two ago and my daughter claimed it right away. We have not painted it yet. Just got done doing a total frontend and brake rebuild. After we get all the mechanical work done we will start on the body. She is doing most of the work herself with help from me once in a while. I figure she deserves it since I have a 79 TA project that's been sitting for several years and she use to go out and sit in it all the time when she got her license. I kept telling her we would get it on the road, but it needs major work and I have too many other projects right now. I found the 77 in good running condition, cheap and with a pretty decent body. She is a senior and goes to College next year so I want to build her a reliable car.
