New House = New Garage

I'm going to settle Friday on a house with a 31x44 garage in the back yard.

I've got to check out the floor and electircal before I move everything in. When we looked at the house I was so overwhelmed I can't remember half the details. I'd like to paint the floor with epoxy paint (I think). I did the garage (24x32) in my current house and it's held up great for 10+ years.

Any ideas for the floor, it's concrete and clean if I remember correctly. I'm not against tiles or paint. It will have a lift (I'm moving my Mohawk).

My wife gets the house of her dreams. I've never seen her so excited over anything. It's her "dream house".

It was my wife that wanted to move. It's just the two of us and we work long hours (she's a nurse and I have a gunshop/range). "We" agreed that it was time to downsize from our current house and she started looking. Every house we went had something that one of us didn't like. Then she sent me the link to this house and I fell in lust with the garage. The house is not smaller (3800sq ft 4br/3.5 baths), and has another large two car garage in the front of the house for her to park her car in. Right now we settle on Friday at 9a.m.

And yes my current garage is overflowing with stuff, all of it too good to throw out. As luck would have it, I think we are going to rent out our old house. That's good because I've got two corvettes apart and a lift to move after I get the floor issue straightened out.

I've really gotten some great ideas from this forum. Thanks to everyone for your posts.
