New member from Finland

Hi everybody!

I'm from western part of Finland, been lurking around of forum for a while but decided to register now..
I have two garages, bigger is around 9mx10m and inner height 5,5 meters, smaller is 6mx6m two cars garage.
In bigger one I'll build metalwork/ paint shop for my hobbies, and smaller one will be gym only. Cars can stay outside...
I try to shoot some photos from inside also.

Sauna is inside of my house, of course . Can't even imagine house without sauna in here...
One day I'll build another one with hot tub to my yard, and wood heated for sure.
I have renovated my house over two years now, but it's almost completed, next thing is interiors to bigger garage and gym to smaller one. Those will keep me busy for a while...

Ya, my Finn buddies at work, living in the Woods where the Plant was, most did wood heat in our very cold winters.

About 10 nights/ year, overnight as low as 27 degree below 0 F.

Anabolis: you are not alone because we have several members here from Finland now. if you need help picking equipment or how to arrange it just PM (private message) me cause i played garage gym tetris for years and now i'm playing the game in an old bedroom INSIDE our house that our kids moved out of.

Welcome! I spectated at Rally Finland in 2009 and had a wonderful time in Jyvaskyla and Helsinki. Amazing dirt forest roads. Makes me wish I had my Subaru when I was there. Met a lot of great people. Can't wait to go back!

Drivesitfar, you have nice set of gym machines! I have a plan to do all machines by my self, I have machine shop with punch press, press brake and two different saws. So I can manufacture power rack, lat pulldowns and other equipment quite easily.
I think I'll start a thread about that when it's gym building time =).

Anabolis: i don't own much of my equipment any longer, but just picked up a Parabody Power rack. i do know a fair amount about gym equipment though so feel free to PM (private message inside GJ) me with your email and questions and i'll try to help.

Drivesitfar: Thanks for an advice, I'll check that thread and see what's going on there. I've spent a lots of time in gyms in my life, and I got pretty good idea what I'm looking for my home gym. I'm pretty focused in combat sports (judo mainly), and I'd love to have good tatami in my garage. But that's pretty damn expensive... But maybe some day I can have it and throw my friends around the place.
