Can someone help me understand how to recondition my 12 volt dewalt cordless batteries. I really don't want to buy a guide online.
Thanks!

Do a search on the internet....plenty of sites.....

But....be aware that if your lucky and it's only one battery with a minor issue, then it might work....otherwise, you are better off buying a new battery.

For future reference, you can get the max life out of a battery (not car battery) by using it until it dies....fully charge it...but don't let it sit on the charger....unless it's a really good charger....most just cook the battery, thus reducing it's life.

BTW....Welcome...

Thanks!! But that's how I found this site. Thee was an indication that the same information you find in guides was available here for free? This looks like a cool site so hopefully someone else can walk me through it or direct me to another site that can.

Thanks again!!

Do you mean how to replace all the individual cells? or how to try to bring one back from death? If the latter, I have never seen any convincing info that zapping them with high voltage will do anything more than temporarily bring them to life.
