I am the author of the Gas Pump Identification book and the Air Meter Identification book, both of which have been revised and re-published. In getting the information for these books I have accumulated 41 file drawers filled with service station equipment literature. You name it, I probably have something on it, parts manuals, catalogs, sales literature, ads, etc., all going back to as far as 1885.
I am now approching 76, but as recently as 2000 I was doing over 20 shows per year, including fall Carlisle and Hershey, almost one every two weeks.
My website: www.petrocollect.com is the largest website devoted to the petro collectiing hobby, it has over 5000 images.
As for restorations my speciality is ECO Air Meters.
At the present time I am putting almost every piece of my petro literature on ebay, don't want my wife burdened with all this stuff. Just search Ebay for handy-Jack.
If you have a question about gas pumps, air meters or a certain piece of garage equipment (Sunnen, Lincoln, Alimite, etc.) post it and I'll try and look it up.
