New Toptul seller?

I saw an ad for this seller and thought I would share it. I don't have any Toptul tools and I know nothing about this seller. I only know those that have them speak highly of them and that US distributors are seemingly hard to find these days.

Not that I like promoting a billionaire's site, but it looks like they also sell on Uncle Bezo's site as well. Not the inventory like on the main webpage but at least the seller's name is elsewhere.

Mike Wren and his team have been around for many years. I have purchased from him.

I think they sell everywhere but in the USA.

That's a blast from the past. Glad to see Mike Wren is still around. I still think Toptul could do well here. Yeah, they would have to embrace 15, 16, & 18 mm more but, anything that survives Eric O beating the snot out it is tough

I bought the combo wrench sets from a different tool seller and they’ve been excellent. Although I haven’t used them hard, they certainly feel and look high end. THAT SAID - for a company that specializes in finishes, I was surprised to see my 1” wrench came with slight surface rust spots.

Also, the name “Toptul” doesn’t exactly scream quality. Other than that, very pleased with them.

I don't know Mike Wren and I've never talked or met him but I certainly wish him well in his business, but, as a former TOPTUL distributor my only comment about him is that he carries a very small percentage of what TOPTUL has to offer. Their catalog is at least 3/4" thick and he carries perhaps 5% of it. Which sure beats 0% which without him would be the case for TOPTUL in this country. I still have an excellent relationship with TOPTUL but they are SUPER CONSERVATIVE. They don't innovate as much as they should like KABO does and they will not venture themselves into the American market. All of this is a shame since their products are as good as any in the world. Hazet and Stahlwille have nothing on TOPTUL.

Yeah, I’ve emailed them before with some tool questions — their customer service was great. The brand also has its own company-owned store. Out of all the Taiwan tool brands I’ve tried, TOPTUL has been the best experience for me.
