Hello everyone I'm brand new to Garage Journal (GJ). I'm 18 months from hitting half a century, but quite the youngster when it comes to social media sites/forums. I go by rmflh132 (representing my initials, type of m/c I ride and my three # identifier from work). I'm a working stiff and won't see retirement for another 7-10 years.
I spend most of my time on ebay / craigslist hunting for tools and HD m/c parts. I turned wrenches for a living many years ago, but don't need to do it to eat anymore. However, it got into my blood and I always find myself wrenching, cuting or fixing something. I make all repairs to my house and personal transpotation. The only thing I tend to stay away from is high voltage electrical work (scares the hell out of me).
I've visited GJ when looking for info / advise on some of my many old tools and vehicles. I have found GJ informative and decided to take the plunge, not to mention that I had to in order to get the links to open. Look forward to my new status and hopefully I'll continue to learn quite a bit from all you smart folks. r/
