Hello,
I want to start gathering data on how to best construct a garage so I am here checking out what you all have done and are doing. I would like a space that is roughly 20x40ft with a high enough ceiling in the garage portion for a two post lift and another section as a guest house.

Welcome to the Forum from Coronado. My shop is in a two car garage that is detached from the house. The garage was existing when I bought the house.
