Found this site while googling for garage plans and such. Started reading and just had to sign on.
Live in Fallon, NV. Just a big sandbox here! My husband and I work in agriculture and I am also a college student for elem. ed. Enjoy outdoors and my son and I ride horses for pleasure. We are going to build a garage in the next month or so. Have been wanting and envisioning a garage for quite a while and finally getting to do it. This is a garage for both of us; space for him to do his garage stuff with our 13 yr old son and space for me to finally re-do some peices of furniture and my dining room table/chairs out of the blowing wind and sand (and do whatever else I can find to get into). Not to mention to get the rest of the tools in a place of their own and out of the house.
Have a 24x28 concrete pad that we've been ok'd to build on. Basically, looking for the right garage plan. It won't be a large scale or fancy place; just something we can be comfortable in and proud to say we did it. No worries, I won't have one pink item or any fluff in the garage either; I understand what a garage is to a man. I am so looking forwarding to building the garage and enjoying what we will create and build. Just excited! However, I'm "diy" till I get to the point of calling for help and just before whatever I'm working on breaks or don't work.
Well, off to read and browse the posts. Hope you guys don't mind if I pick your brain now and then for ideas or clarification on things.
