I guess it's time to dive right in. I stumbled across this site while googling for garage plans. A familiar layout and name from one of my favorite sites, The Jalopy Journal !!! I've been checking it out and really a bunch of great info !!! Me and the wife bought a house 3 yrs ago and did exactly what I said I wasn't going to do, bought one with no garage. Actually it had at one time was a garage but i saved it the trouble of falling down by hooking a chain to the ole 65 F100 and pulled it the rest of the way down. Been trying to get some cash together to pay for one ever since. Now three years later, lots of daydreaming, and selling some rides to finance, and I think I'm ready to get started. I don't have much experience ( I've built a shelf or two ) but with my budget not much choice, but to build it myself. I've bought some plans, and hopefully can get some help along the way. It's great to have a resource like the Garage Journal to help along the way.
