Planning a 40x50 in the very near future and need some advice. SHould I put epoxy coat covering on it and how much would it cost for 2000sqft? Just general light maininence and a race car....

Epoxy is a great choice. Prices are similar to prices for an engine - all over the place depending on your desired results.

Prep is pretty much identical for all epoxies, although some systems are more forgiving if you aren't as thorough in the prep work. But don't take chances or short cuts, just do it right.

There are quite a few tricks and techniques that will help you get the job done efficiently and with great results. Some members have posted notes about their successful projects. If you have a few minutes you can review some of them they've posted about here on Garage Journal:
