Nextec LED light $7.99

I'm surprised this hasn't come up here. I did see it at SD thru a web search (I'm not a SD member).

I noticed this was also in the Sears BF ad, and was one of the only things that interested me, but here it is now at the same price. I got one at a hometown store and one at a corporate store.

These lights are good for the price, but no Milwaukee LED (with a single LED the Milwaukee puts out more light than this one does with 24).

Nextec batteries are also $19.99 down from $24.99. Not a big deal but I grabbed a spare because I think both Nextec and Sears itself are going away soon.

That's the thing, stock on these is sparse. None of the hometown stores in my usual area have any, nor does the one corporate store (I was shopping out of town when I got mine mentioned in post #1).

So if anyone is wanting one, buy now. I think it's unlikely Sears will increase stock for BF despite having them in the BF ad. Nextec is the red-headed step child right now despite being a tremendous value for the price. Also online inventories can be wrong so it never hurts to look in person if you're near a Sears. The web said the one corporate store had 2 but when I got there there were 3 on the shelf plain as day. Also Hometown stores may not have it signed but it should ring up $7.99.

A nice light for $8. My theory is can never have too many lights, and I use stuff like this in place of flashlights or rechargeable lights with non-removeable batteries.

Sears.com inventory always subtracts one from the store inventory. So if sears.com says they have 0, they may actually have one, and it's worth calling about.

Sorry, but anything made with those 5mm LEDs is not a good deal at any price.

But I may be kind of a flashlight snob, too.
