Inside a small shoebox of vintage tools I found a small punch that had a name that I had never seen before , it was stamped Nordic Forge.
After doing a web-search I found that the company is still in business making hand and edge tools and other tools for the horse trades; they were founded back in 1886 in Guttenberg, Iowa.
They make punches, chisels, hammers ,nippers, and other tools for the horse trades, and the best part they are made in the USA.
They say..."Nordic Forge Inc. is the third generation family run factory located in guttenberg Iowa. Nordic Forge Inc. prides itself on making quality farrier tools for the professional."
I found a nice video link in case you are interested and a picture of the punch which looks to be very well made.
