I would guess that all the sets have been received. How do you guys like the bits? Between everyone that ordered, it would be interesting to read some comparisons between what you used previously.

Obviously the new bit is wicked sharp but he thought it cut better than what he used before? What did he use before? Hss, cobalt, 118 or 135. Thanks

He has a snap on HSS set that he normally uses. He didn't specifically say how well it drill, but either the frame on a maxima is made of tin foil or he drilled through it oftly quick.

Bumping an old thread -- I just got these http://www.fastenal.com/web/product...pcode=&filterByStore=&filterByVendingMachine= from Patrick -- they just arrived. Really well made stuff! I don't know whether to hang the bits on a wall or drill with them.

Thanks PT Doc for setting this up, and thanks again Patrick!

I bought the Cobalt 115 piece set because of how varied my use is....figured that set would make life easier, and I was right!

Its been awesome having the correct bit size for every project no matter what. I love the cobalt since I drill steel quite often and they have been fantastic. Now I just need another group buy so I can pick up a set for wood to replace the crappy dewalts I have!

I'll have to see if he can give me a price on a set of left hand Norseman 87859

If he's still around and can still get good prices

Way to resurrect!

Give him a call and tell him that go sent you.

If there is enough interest another group buy could be setup sometime in the next few months.

A thread very worthy of resurrection!

I sent him an email. Have to get in touch on Tuesday

I really like Norseman products. I've been using them for a very long time.

Local Fastenal never even got back to me with a price.

Fairbury Fastener in Fairbury, Illinois is also a good source for Norseman products. I dealt with them years ago and kind of forgot about them as they are over an hour away. When I called Norseman, They never even gave me their name. I found them again in the same search I found this thread
