OK.. truth.. How many of you have run out of room and have built on to your existing shop/garage so you can stuff more in there? :headscrat

I'm coming to the realization that my "tiny" 24 x 28 garage isn't cutting it. I'm going to have to extend the front out another 20 - 22 feet and enclose it. Anybody else?

Have pics of what you've done? Would love to see.

thx much

A couple of assumptions here, one is that the buildint on the right is the one being added onto and that it is of pole construction. Perty simple to remove the trim, metal, and add ploes and more tin out fromt. You also have the ability to raise the roof on the new part and use a stepped roofline.

Years ago I started with the standard two car garage. The 2nd home I added a 30x40 shop. The third place I built a 40x60 pole barn. My current shop was originally a 40x72 pole barn. After two years it went to 40x96. Still have a few things that end up outside. May have to add on again next year. As they say, you can never have a shop that's too big.

I would do an inventory of the tools you have and see what you don't really need unless you find it to be a necessity.
