Hey all. So I've been on here since 06. On the HAMB since 01, just never had really anything worth while to contribute. Well, I still don't but, figured its high time to to the intro.
Grew up and lived in West Central MN until 2 years ago. Building my cars in my "Fair Weather Garage" and doing Graphic Arts to pay the bills. I then went to work for Hot Rod Chassis in Ill for the last two years.
Last month I returned to my roots in MN and moved in with my girlfriend in St Paul. I was lucky, not only is she a great girl in about every sense of the word, she's let me have full reign over the basement and garage. Only bad thing is, her ex decided to use both of these places for his disposal it seems. So I've spent the last month cleaning the basement and setting it up to be part workshop, part entertainment room, where I can set up my vintage furniture, bar, and toy car collection. I wish I had taken pics of the before, but here is pics after I've cleaned the workshop up a bit. It aint perfect, but it'll work for now till money allows improvents.
Heres a pic of the garage. Can't do much besides cleaning until the roof is fixed. 126" of snow last year took its toll. But the rest is pretty sound and a good foundation for a nice work space.
I'm sure I'll have lots of questions for you guys coming up. Thanks ahead of time!
