odd Craftsman combination wrench

Just picked this up today. It could be a modification, but it really doesn't look like it.
Anyone?

^ It looks kind of like something one would find on a Ronson "9 in One" wrench.

Not sure exactly what that's about... obviously modified to fit something, but it remains unclear exactly what it was.

Craftsman made a variation on the ratchet wrench with what they called a gear wrench. Your wrench made me think of it, but I think your wrench has been owner-modified, although very well done.

Does the opening measure 1/2" - or more than 1/2"?

Yep, it's a modification - when I got it out of the Evaporust, cleaned it up, and measured it, sure enough - it now fits 9/16" hex heads, very nicely, I might add. The machinist did a fine job.
Crisis averted.
...feeling pretty dumb for not checking it before I wrote the post. Feel free to rake me over the coals.

I’m glad to see the picture - it is a rare nice job of modifying. The touch of filing to deburr / chamfer is tidy.

I just kinda want to file the size marking and restamp it…
