Old Rigid pipe wrench with extra hinged section

Anyone have any experience with one of these? Was in my mother's basement when she moved to a new house about 20 years ago. Never seen another like it. It's a Rigid. Thanks!

Hi and WELCOME to the board!

That's a unique looking pipe wrench. Looks like something is missing from the hole at the end of the handle. It looks like it won't make contact with the cam at the bottom of the head. Is the overall length about 30"?

Hopefully someone will chime in with more info on it. Nice find

Yeah, $416 seemed pretty cheap to me too. Here's the link to the 6" jaw model (closer to 30" long)

Wow! Had no idea it was that pricey an item. I'll see if I can find a model number on it anywhere and contact Rigid. It is around 30" long. Thanks very much for the info fellas!

There was a smaller one of these on ebay here, went for £54 inc post, to much for me as I dont need it.
