Found an old Sears 5 ton bottle jack in pretty decent condition and it leaks pretty bad out the top of the piston that you crank on to raise the jack. The seal almost looks like it's some kind of fiber or leather. Not really sure. Anyways the model number is 825.11051 and I can't find any info on it online. I'd like to reseal it if possible but can't find a kit anywhere. I can post so me pics if it's needed. Thanks guys.

The first three digits are the vendor code. The lists are on line. I checked three lists and there was no 825. Strange. Are you sure it is 825?

While I could not match your number, call Lazzar they have a huge inventory of rebuild kits and can probably figure out what you have. The seal probably is leather. It was used for many years and quite effective.
