Old vice and drill press

My father in law passed away earlier this year and I acquired a few of the old tools from his shop. Here are a couple I thought you guys might find interesting.

I know old vices are popular here. I don't know anything about this one yet. Ill clean it up a bit and use it in my shop.

Drill press is an old Craftsman. No idea how old, but I do know many years ago this forking thing took a chunk out of my hand lol.

That's a blacksmith's vise. Yep, you've got the CM 150. You could easily make that into a bench top model.

That is a bechtop model Zeke, it's sitting on a custom stand, see the base below the table?

It was mounted on a bench, turned the picture sideways so you could see it better. No idea how old it is, but the family has been on this same spot dairying for about 100 years. My FIL was the last one to farm. Ive seen pictures from back in the old days. They used to have a bunch of horses they used for hunting. So I guess a black smith vice makes sense.

The drill press is a Craftsman, manufactured by King Sealy. Circa; early 1950s. It looks awesome the way it is. The post vise looks great also. I don't know much about post vises. You have some great heirlooms.

I believe it's actually a 100, not a 150. Same basic drill press. Looks like it may have the remnants of a table lift on the column under the head.

What I meant was cut the rim and legs off the base. Looks a lot like my CM 150 but if you say it's a 100, then I'll step aside.
