I have a 2 stage Curtis air compressor most likely from the 70's that stalls out the motor around 80 PSI. Not a motor issue and when you have 80 PSI the pulley on the compressor rotates easily even when holding the unloader in.

Anything I should check before taking the actual compressor apart?

Thanks

Belts are tight but, not overly tight. I don't think it has a crankcase breather and it is 20 miles away right now so I can't go look very easliy.
