My local OSH has a lot of items on closeout at the moment. I'm not sure if this is the case with all of their stores, but the some of the prices are pretty crazy so I figured I'd share.
I picked up the following:
- Vermont American (Germany) 1/2" brad point drill bit
- Vermont American (Germany) 5/8" brad point drill bit
- 10x Starrett (Brazil) 10" hack saw blades
- 10x Starrett (Brazil) 12" hack saw blades
The interesting thing is that the two drill bits were marked as $5 and $6 respectively, but rang up as 1 cent each, as did one pack of hack saw blades. The other pack of blades rang up for $2.00. So, for $2.03 (plus tax) I got two nice drill bits and 20 hack saw blades. I might go back tomorrow to see what else rings up as 1 cent, they had a selection of 16g and 18g brads and a lot of 1/4" crown staples.
