Outside light placement

I've got two great gooseneck lights:

One will go in the front middle evenly spaced between the door and the windows.

The second light will either go above the side door or in the back above the upstairs door. The other doors will be lit by mothion activated flood lights.

All advice will be greatly appreciated.

If you are going to use the upstairs much at all, say as a mancave, I would mount the light above the upstairs door. This will let it shine down and illuminate the lower deck somewhat without using lights down below also. As far as the front, dead center, above the door, between the door and window. I may just have to get me a couple of those lights also. I wish I had gotten something like that when we redid our lighting on the house. The contractor put the dinkyass little coach lights mounted at the top of the garage door, so any light you replaced it with that had any size to it looked stupid. I had to make a 6x12 board with reversed laps on the back to fit the siding (cedar siding) and drop the lights down. At $49.00 for those types of lights, look like a pretty sweet deal. The only thing is, do they look like they are well made, or do they look like the thin China ****. I guess what I'm wondering is that if the wind would blow hard, would the lights remain stationary or would they pivot back at the house mount?

Boy do I hate coach lights. I replaced mine with open bottom ones so that at least I didn't have to dismantle them just to change the bulb!
These look like pretty good quality. Only time will tell for sure. I did get a can of there clear coat to protect the finish from UV rays. I'll use it on the next set of solar lights I get. They are also adjustable you can point them against the wall if you want or tighten them down. BTW $100 min order from them.

I should have read further on the site. I just read where they are powdercoated and not painted and also have a lifetime guarantee. That's pretty much a selling point for me. As soon as the wife gets back home I am going to show her and I think I will be placing an order.

Look at the deminsions of the lights. With the gooseneck, it might work. Also, checkout the simular but smaller angled lights. They can be used to light up the walls.

Yep, bronze finish. I would have preferred green (not offered). But, I plan on changing the rest of my outdoor fixtures to bronze anyway. My brss carriage lights in the front of the house are so hard to keep clean.
