First,hi,I am a electromecanician from Quebec.Seem to be a really nice community here! Here my question : Ive already order some tools from chadstoolsbox in the past and I never had any problem with them, items are generaly shipped to me in 10-12 days from the order date (if all in stock).

But not for the package I ordered 10 days ago (may 2).I usually track the package with the tracking number on the usps website but now it's been 10 day and the package still in wasilla with the status ''acceptance''.

I sent a email to chadtoolbox 5 days ago and ask them to check with their post office if there is a problem with my package but they said usps often change their status when the item is shipped...It's been more than 10 days and the package not even cross USA/Canada custom...

What happen to my order?Did you already had this kind of problem? What acceptance mean?

Thank for your answer!!!

Electro,
Not sure exactly what happened but I used to work in a ski shop online store where we often sent many packages international via USPS. I noticed that USPS doesn't seem to update their shipping nearly as often or accurately as UPS or FED EX. Then add to that an international destination. I am sure they are on the way and just not being tracked online very efficiently. Good luck and I hope the arrive soon!

No offense intended at all, but I'm guessing English is not your first language, acceptance would mean it was picked up by the mail man.

USPS does not update like UPS and FEDEX... They call the delivery confirmation numbers for a reason, all the do is confirm delivery. Once in a while they will post an update but usually none. I've never had a problem with them, but I still prefer to use UPS for everything.

I've bought pliers from QuattroJon (mailed from England) during which the package was held up at USPS's JFK location for a pretty extensive time (11 days.) Like many gentlemen have already said, USPS's tracking service can be useless at times. There has been plenty times that the package's tracking number hasn't been updated until after I already received the package.

Perhaps there is an issue with USPS's international tracking system? I rarely have issues when tracking non-international packages. I wouldn't rule out Customs either.
