What do you guys think I should be willing to pay for a Snap On PH3050A air hammer? I found one at a pawn shop that's tempting as it already has the quick release chuck on it, I'm just debating what I should be willing to pay.

Depending on condition, probably $150 because it's used. Compare it to those previously sold on eBay.

I bought one on Ebay for $75 as the chuck was slightly bent but it works great. ~$150 is right. Anymore look elsewhere.

$175 seemed to be the average on eBay, and they were asking $150. They almost always come down at least 20% on their asking price, so I'm wondering if I should pick it up if I can get it in the $120 range.

For $120 I'd do it, just sneak in a money back guarantee before paying for it. Usually pawn shops don't buy broken stuff, but you never know. Spit and bubble gum go along way if someone is hurting for cash. I buy a lot from pawn shops and usually go with the "Bundle Master", Frank Fritz technique. :lol_hitti

Well, I purchased it. I ended up getting it for $100 out the door. I started with that offer expecting to work my way up, but they accepted it.

This would be the top I'd say. I don't get more than that when I sell them on ebay, unless they're mint or better

I would love to find a PH3050 in the $100-150 range like you guys are suggesting. On eBay the ones in good shape are $200+

You haven't looked at "sold listings" then. Plenty of nicer ones have gone for around $150.00 Like anything it varies, but they can be had for that, I've got ahold of nice ones for $110.00 before.
