Picked up a Parker 973-A in ok condition.

Got this today and it is in good shape. I wont need to do much to this one, just a little on the handle and jaws to get surface rust off.

As an owner of a couple of older Parkers with the bad "hard to replace" jaw design, I have to ask: Why are the jaws on the Union Tool Parkers, with the good "easy to replace" jaw design, always in such good shape?
