Need some help with my Dad's toolbox which I have. Can't find any info on the roll around to identify model or maybe year it was made. A few years ago after getting tired of trying to roll it around on the original tires(they were in shreds with most of the rubber pretty rotten and coming off in chunks)I put a new set of tires on the rig. Other than that it is original and or it's age(whatever that is?) in pretty great shape. It's a Plomb, green and I guess to be in the 1920's 1930s? Top drawer measures 5 3/4" deep, 2nd drawer measures 3 3/4", pull out, up and slide in area measures
11 1/8" and the bottom drawer is 5 3/4." Dimensions of the roll around are:
26 1/2" wide, 17 3/4" deep, and 30"(box only)high. Appreciate any comments help on identifying more info on the chest. Thanks alot and good to be here. Oops, back to the drawing board. Hoped to upload pics from my cell. I'll be back.

Fog: where are you located? if you want to join our group for the long haul you might want to go in your GJ profile to put in city/state or and area you live in that might get you better answers to your questions. we have members all over the world on here now.

also welcome to the group and hope you figure out how to post pictures of your boxes that probably would fit better on these two threads.

Show your Plomb: http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=135342

Vintage toolboxes of Garage Journal: http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=49743

also for posting pictures i use the paperclip just above where you (we) write our posts and just click on it and you can load up 7 pictures one at a time just like an email.

good luck and are you keeping it or just trying to find out more information about it. if it's your dad's and you like it i'd recommend you keeping it.

Ok, here goes again. And by the way I originally tried to do a new post to the Vintage tool boxes of the Journal was never able to find the "new post" link to click on. Would love to post it there spent to damn long looking for a way to post and never found one. NO SUCCESS ! WITH PICS ! Thought someone said click the image or paperclip and you can browse your computer and upload a pic from your computer. I don't want to sign up for some cloud picture uploading service just to upload some pics. So any suggestions now??? Thanks. Catalog pics were sort of helpful but did not show the same configuration of drawers etc and also did not show the back of the box rack the sticks up, also no place that I could find had an colors mentioned...saw some red someplace but it it not red it's dark green. ???

Oh...an addendum...there are pdf catalogs from someplace called mediaface but when I click on the download for a catolog it fails to download. Seems, sort of hokey and I got tired of hanging out there trying to figure out what was going on. Scam...maybe/???
