Picture sizes

Curious....lately I have noticed some rather large pictures on this site...I did a little test to load one of my pictures on and the file limit is 195.8 I believe....but alot of pictures on here are huge....can someone explain??

Large picture size does not always equate to file size or quality. With Photoshop, I can post a huge picture of lower quality and still make it under the threshold.
