I am running some 6/2 NM romex wire for my welder outlets and am having difficulty figuring out what is the correct plastic staple for this wire. The only staple in the local box store was 3/4" #6 SEU, but when stapling the 6/2 wire it doesn't provide a tight fit. I also bought some 3/4" plastic staples which the package says is good for as large as 10/3, and when comparing to the thickness of the 6/2 they are definitely not deep enough. What should I use? This is being inspected, so I want to make sure I meet code instead of having to rip them all out after inspection.
