Hi guys

My garage has exposed block walls and i've started to skim them myself which s a bit rough but makes them look far better.
Once the skimed walls are painted its looking a bit better.

But i'm wondering if anyone had covered thier walls with plastic pvc panels?

I'm thinking plain white panels on the walls and ceiling would make a big difference.

Dont do it. Looks maybe nice in the beginning but will be dirty, panels loose shape and start to hang and so on in a couple of years. Paint your blocks or plaster if you want a really smooth surface.

I have used FRP (fiberglass reinforced panel) on sheet rock and after about a year they still look fine. I used the grey panels which have a pebble finish. I use the garden hose when they're dirty and the dirt comes right off.

Where do you get your FRP panels? The DIY stores seem to only have white and almond, and I want some gray ones like yours.

I'd like to know also where you got the grey ones. The box stores only seem to carry white and almond like Steevo said.

Thanks for the input guys

I'm really stuck as to what to do now. I was going to strap and then sheet the whole garage but i don't want to loose any space.

I might just carry on with the painting all round.

For options on FRP -
Try Sabic Polymershapes, they carry a lot of plastic sheet. Might be a branch near you. Otherwise, try other plastic supply houses.

Hi friends.. i am albertasen..
A wall panel is single piece of material, usually flat and cut into a rectangular shape, that serves as the visible and exposed covering for a wall. Wall panels are functional as well as decorative, providing insulation and soundproofing, combined with uniformity of appearance.. i got this information from madaanindia.com

:dunno:
