My old Coleman shot craps recently and I have a new Porer Cable 60 gallon upright sitting in the shop.

The old compressor had two pressure controls and guages, the new biggun only one. So Now Im considering the issues of with the new one, what is the "Best" set up from the compressor to the pipe...in otherwords....How would you plumb and what would u add between the comprssor outlet and the pipes I have in the shop....

I used a 300psi rated rubber hose and a galvanized union. it works well in isolating the vibrations and it's easy to work on. call your local hose shop and give then the length you need and they can fab one up with the fittings and all.

I opted for a 6-1/2 foot 4,000 psi. 3/4" hydraulic hose off eBay long enough so I can move the compressor out to work on it before having to disturb the pluming. I really can't undo the pluming unless it is moved first. My copper piping system has a 3/4" main running the length of my shop and ending in 3/4" ball valves external to the shop.
