Plumbing ? re: main cleanout

Very old cast pipe is about to burst. My ? is the "Y" that goes into the wall probably has a collar behind that block and once I take out the minimum amount of block, how do I cut that pipe to replace everything with PVC? Thank you

There is most likely a hub in there. Open the block patch and drill out the lead and pull the joint out Split the top hub with a diamond saw. Peel it off. I'd put it back in cast.

4 to 5 hours $550 to $600 would be fair here. I do about 10 of these a year, Plastic will crack in the wall like that. I'll hydro it but you're the painter.

So there's your comps.
