I have two garages that share a wall, but are not connected. The larger one is 30x30 and was added shortly after the house was built. The one that was originally part of the house is a 2 1/2 car garage. Anyway, I wanted to do an epoxy floor on the bigger garage since that is where I do all of my work. I had a local guy that does industrial spaces come out and he gave me an estimate for both at $4 sg/ft. The total would be $6000. This would include diamond grinding both floor and installing a polymer floor. I’m not 100% sure I need an epoxy floor in the smaller garage since that is purely for storage, but I do like the aesthetics of having both floors match in the event I ever put a door between them. Does $4 sq/ft seem like a reasonable cost? I want to get this done sooner rather than later because I am going to order two additional lifts. I already have a Mohawk 2-post service lift in the bigger garage, and am going to add another 4-post lift in that space, as well as a single column lift in the other garage.
Thanks.
