Powermatic Model 30 Sander Parts

I have an older Model 30 and nee a side plate for it - original part was discontinued (3595369) Does anyone know if the side plate cover for the newer model 31A would fit (31A-28?) it looks a little differently shaped on the one end, but overall very similar. even the line item of parts diagram is the same.

Post this on www.owwm.org and you'll be more likely to get an answer. Those side plates are a wear item. Sanding belts eat into them. People also leave them off completely to make changing belts easier.
