Not spam, the price is better than it ever has been. Usually runs over $130. I thought Powertac was a better brand? Maybe I am not up to speed on this type of stuff?

Sorry, my mistake. People usually don't post an entire wall-of-text spec sheet for a product unless they're spamming.

I stick to Surefires or Streamlights for my tacticool stuff, maybe I'm just paranoid though. I EDC a Jetbeam and have some Fenix and Solarforce stuff kicking around.

A lot of good quality inexpensive options out there besides the "tacticool" stuff. Solarforce is one way to go (currently building some L2Ts for local cops around 1,000 lumens), but for a quality budget light I would look for a Convoy C8. Check out www.mtnelectronics.com.

I had issues w/ my Solarforce L2m making consistent contact w/ the 6P dropins, something about how their tolerances aren't 100% the same as the 6P.

I have an L2P as well, that works much more consistently, but I given how much trouble I was having w/ the L2m, it didn't make me feel warm and fuzzy inside.

The P60 design is pretty old and outdated, although I love the L2P host (grippy anodizing, good shape, ring for cigar hold, etc.). It was nice before when new LED tech would come out you could just swap in a new drop-in to your existing host. Quality hosts are really inexpensive now though that have screw-in pills for better electrical contact and heatsinking (Convoy M1 or C8 for example).

For some local cops though they really like the L2T, so I'm machining custom aluminum pills that get press fit in for good heatsinking and electrical contact. That whole spring around the pill thing ***** :(

EDIT: Off topic, especially for a deal thread, but - http://budgetlightforum.com/node/32550
