Need more info. Size of building. Snow load? This will determine if you are looking at a red iron building or a carport style building.

We need to know what YOU understand "pre fab" to mean.

Alot of things labeled "pre fab" are not as pre fabbed as they make it seem, so I dunno.

Pre fab is usually a sales gimmick term.

Very rare exceptions to this, only like some garden gazebo kits or similar.

"Precut" is even worse.

They basically want to put a picture in your head that it's a very quick easily assembled erector set requiring a minimum of labor, hence you figure "O !! cheaper"

There is very rarely a free lunch, and never for buildings.

Closeout sales, whatever.

99.99% of times it's ********.

You have to pay for what you get.

Which is different from "You get what you pay for" cause you may, or may not.

Tell us what you want to end up with, and you'll get suggestions. Marc

"Install Microsoft Silverlight".
That already rendered them toxic, to me :3gears:
Get a local "commercial" architect to whip you something together that will fly past the building dept.
He can approach the steel supplier to make a 'kinda-sorta kit".
He'll also know contractors who do this every day. They come and put up the ..."kit"
Steel buildings are neither expensive nor complicated.......UNLESS.you buy into nonsense

I purchased a steel building from Corle Buildings in Imler Pa almost 7 years ago and have been very pleased with it. I compared cost with stick Vs pole vs iron and found the Iron and stick are about the same. The difference for me was the fact of the open ceiling and all steel construction. Never have to worry about critters bugs and termites . The doors are industrial with panic hardware and everything is more commercial for heavy use. I did add 4/12pitch with two foot overhangs to make it less industrial looking on the outside.
