I have new build home with a curved steel but there is a portion of flat roof that will get foamed soon (in days).
I was going to add a 1 1/2" conduit penetrating to roof and am thinking what possible posts to fasten now so the option of tossing several panels on the roof can attach to known solid and water sealed vertical mounting points....
What can i possibly use from lowes or home depot? I was thinking of a few 10' Galvanized Steel Wall Framing Studs at 20 gauge side cut at bends and riveted for rigidty at 90 degre bends to provide a OSB and underlying rafter fastened 7' section about 12" off the roof.
Crazy idea?
